When used correctly, Lithionics Battery warrants your battery to be free from manufacturing defects for a period of 5 years. Also, when used correctly, Lithionics Battery warrants your battery to deliver a minimum of 2,000 cycles at full depth-of-discharge or up to 6,000 cycles. This Warranty requires that either the Bluetooth or round SOC gauge be installed and other requirements.

2.) Lithionics Battery "Retail Customers" Warranty
"Warranty Versus Guarantee"

2. a) Batteries equipped with NeverDie Battery Management System (BMS) When Lithionics Warranty Conditions Can Be Met:
When used correctly, Lithionics Battery warrants your battery to be free from manufacturing defects for a period of 5 years. Also, when used correctly, Lithionics Battery warrants your battery to deliver a minimum of 2,000 cycles at full depth-of-discharge or up to 6,000 cycles. This Warranty requires that either the Bluetooth or round SOC gauge be installed AND the following requirements are met:

You completely disclose all of the electrical devices (charging and load devices) to us.
You follow our straight forward best practices which include but are not limited to using the correct gauge of high quality copper or tinned copper marine power cabling, using high quality tinned copper cable ends that are hex crimped (6-way crimp) and sealed with adhesive backed heat shrink tubing.
You only connect one main power cable to each of the battery/ BMS box terminal studs which will connect to a bus bar where you make all your system connections. Placing multiple cables on a single Lithionics terminal may Void your Warranty.
You use a knowledgeable or licensed and experienced installer (some cases of self-installation can be covered).
You select an appropriate environment to install the components (temperature controlled is preferred and free of moisture/ dripping water etc.)
You provide detailed high quality photos of the Lithionics Battery components installed. These photos need to be from 1,200 to 2,500 pixels wide and show the system as a whole as well as close up photos of the battery system connections and EURO DIN cable connections if applicable.
You have an appropriate short-circuit main fuse connected inline on the positive battery system cable to the bus bar(s). Consult with us if you are unsure what fuse type/ value to use.

b) Batteries equipped with NeverDie Battery Management System (BMS) When Lithionics Warranty Conditions Cannot Be Met:
Assuming that your Lithionics Battery System is still used correctly, Lithionics Battery warrants your battery to be free from manufacturing defects for a period of 1 year. Also, when used correctly, Lithionics Battery warrants your battery to deliver a minimum of 2,000 cycles. However, as Lithionics Battery cannot control the installation conditions and habits of the Customer, there is no Guarantee that a battery will provide 2,000 cycles.

"Warranty Versus Guarantee"

Your battery was 100% load tested and certified prior to shipment to you. A copy of the test report is available upon request.
Our battery systems have been tested and certified to deliver 2000 cycles in applications where the installation environment and charging-discharging conditions meet our specifications and fitness-for-use by the Purchaser.

4. Charging Your Battery

4.1 - Supported Chargers:
Lithionics Battery 12V engine start batteries can be charged with either a externally Voltage regulated alternator (connected to either a Balmar or Wakespeed external Voltage regulator) in proper working order or a Lithionics Battery LiFePO4 Charger. Failure to do so will void the battery’s warranty. Other chargers are factory approved but you must report that charger to the factory in an email request to Pinnacle Innovations (getlithium.com) at siteinfo@shaw.ca and obtain formal approval.

4.2 - Connecting Your Battery to a Charger:
Step 1.
Verify that the battery output is ON. This can be done by checking that the red pushbutton LED is lit or by checking that battery voltage is present with a multi-meter.

Step 2.
1st: Connect the RED (positive) charger lead to the positive terminal on the battery.
2nd: Connect the BLACK (Negative) charger lead to the negative terminal on the battery.

Step 3.
Plug the charger into a wall outlet and turn on the charger, your battery is now charging!

DO NOT USE A SOLAR CHARGER OR SOLAR CHARGE CONTROLLER ON ANY LITHIONICS ENGINE STARTING BATTERIES. THIS WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY. OUR ENGINE STARTING BATTERIES ARE DESIGNED TO ABSORB THE ENERGY OF A FAILED ALTERNATOR TO ENSURE VEHICLE SAFETY AND PREVENT VEHICLE DAMAGE. THIS MEANS THE ENGINE STARTING BMS VERSION DOES PERMIT OVER-CHARGING VOLTAGES TO ENTER THE BATTERIES WHICH ARE FIRE-PROOFED. SOLAR CHARGE CONTROLLERS ARE MUCH MORE PRONE TO FAILURE THAN ALTERNATORS AND THEREFORE YOU MAY LOSE YOUR INVESTMENT OF YOUR BATTERY.

LITHIONICS BATTERY SOLAR POWER CONTROLLER DETAILS

All 12 Volt Lithionics Battery Lithium ion Batteries need to be charged between 14.0 Volts and 14.4 Volts. The Batteries also need to "Float Charge" at 13.4 Volts.

Not all Solar Controllers have safety features or adjustable voltage settings. Typically, only 3-Stage Solar Controllers can be adjusted to the Voltages listed above or have a "Gel Battery Setting".
