The Lithionics Battery 6,500 Watt 51 Volt PowerFit Alternator is a great low cost addition to any 51 Volt RV or marine project and comes with a 2 year/ 24,000 Miles Warranty. One of the great features is that this alternator is a smart alternator that connects to the Lithionics 3,000 Watt 51 Volt Inverter-charger. Here, the Inverter-charger actually controls the alternator so there is no need for a separate external Voltage Regulator.

NOTES:
Please note that not all Mercedes 4 cylinder engines come equipped from the factory with the dedicated second alternator bracket. Before placing an order, please be sure to check on your engine if it has the dedicated second alternator bracket already installed. If it does not, then we will also need to order the special "N62" dedicated second alternator bracket at additional cost.

In addition, these dedicated second alternators are a little time consuming to install. If your engine already has the second bracket it will take roughly 1/2 a day to install for most competent mechanics. If you also need to install the N62 bracket it will take somewhat longer.
