ONE OF THE LITHIUM-ION BATTERY SYSTEM RV PROJECTS PINNACLE INNOVATIONS HAS COMPLETED

DYNAMAX ISATA RV LITHIONICS BATTERY SYSTEM UPGRADE

Our Client for this Lithionics Battery lithium-ion battery installation travelled all the way from Illinois, USA to have Pinnacle Innovations install the electrical components and battery system upgrade. In some regards, this was a bit of a "team effort" as the Client wanted us to utilize a modular aluminum tubing mounting cage that he pre-fabricated before driving out to Langley, BC. He did very nice work on this but honestly the very finicky locking nuts inside the extruded aluminum channel did give us some issues when we got around to actually installing everything. The reason is that these backing nuts are designed to freely slide inside the channels and after installing many of the components it was impossible to get a screwdriver inside the channels to prop up these backing nuts into the position they needed to get the fastening bolt to line up with. This Client opted for two units of the Lithionics GTX 12 Volt 320 Amp hour batteries together with the Xantrex Freedom XC Pro 3,000 Watt inverter-charger with its upgraded Bluetooth remote control display panel. Also included in this installation was the Victron Energy 100/30 model MPPT Smart solar charge controller as well as the Victron Energy Orion TR 30 Amp DC to DC battery charger that properly isolates the engine alternator output to permit proper charging of the Lithionics batteries. Rewiring the 120 Volt AC circuit breaker panel in conjunction with the addition of the upgraded Xantrex Freedom XC Pro 3000 Watt inverter-charger.   This project opted for an upgrade to the great Xantrex Freedom XC Pro 3,000 Watt inverter-charger. We rewire the 120 Volt system as a part of this sytem upgrade so that everything - including the air conditioner can run off-grid on battery power alone (as well as still being able to run on Shore Power and Generator Power) Also shown is the new Blue Sea 30 Amp shore power circuit breaker that we had to add. Rewiring the alternator's existing wiring so that we can isolate its charge output.
