This
Client resides in a great suburb just outside
of Seattle, Washington State and travelled to
have Pinnacle Innovations perform this two battery
installation at our Langley, BC workshop.
This
RV installation on this Coachmen Beyond small
RV was one of Pinnacle's favourites because it
involved the in-house design and the in-house
fabrication of a special two battery box made
with aluminum - something that presents a welcome
and interesting challenge. Again, this Client
opted for two units of the Lithionics GTX Series
battery model: GTX
12V320A-E2107-CS200. In addition, we also
installed the Xantrex Freedom XC Pro 3,000 Watt
inverter-charger plus a Sterling Power 60 Amp
DC to DC charger to permit independent/ isolated/
optimal lithium-ion battery charging via the engine
alternator when the engine runs.
Last,
as part of almost all of the Lithionics RV upgrades
that we do, we need to upgrade the solar charge
controller to one that has the correct programmable
settings for properly recharging the Lithionics
Batteries. Here, without exception, we always
use the compact, well built and super efficient
MPPT solar charge controllers made by Victron
Energy. These have a great 5 year warranty, a
Bluetooth phone App and are really easy to program
and monitor. These are typically 30% more efficient
than most standard solar charge controllers.

equipment in-house needed for custom steel/ aluminum/
wood fabrication, welding and professionally sprayed
automotive paints.
